Ying Shu died unexpectedly and entered a quick transmigration world, bound to the role of an NPC everyone hated.
The good news: He didn't have many scenes. He only had to follow the script and push the plot forward to clock out.
The bad news: The System lost its data, so it had no idea what the main plot was. It could only retrieve information when key characters appeared.
[World One: Big Brother, Please Abandon Me Again]
With no script to follow, Ying Shu simply packed a bag and went out to see the world. A talent scout spotted him, and he entered the entertainment industry. But he was so lazy that he never became popular.
One day, the System suddenly sounded an alarm. Target Character No. 1 had appeared.
He was a homeless orphan, and you were his deadweight little brother. But you had no idea you were a burden. You were spoiled and willful, and constantly got yourself into trouble.
Your plot together was to push him until he couldn't take it anymore and abandoned you. Once rid of you, he could rise to the top.
Ying Shu, who had already run away from home: "..."
"So should I find my brother, who has already made it to the top, and get him to abandon me again?"
Soon, people noticed a certain young star and a certain conglomerate's president frequently appearing side by side at all sorts of events...
Before that was even over, Target Character No. 2 appeared.
He was an unfortunate, impoverished young man, and you were his first love. You were supposed to dump him brutally at his lowest point, after which he would turn his life around.
Because he'd run away from home, Ying Shu had never developed this plotline: "..."
Since things had come to this, he'd better approach the guy and start dating him first.
And so the young star began sneaking around, secretly dating a male student at a prestigious university.
He'd thought it was just a formality, but things were getting more and more out of hand.
Big Brother No. 1 absolutely refused to abandon him. In the middle of the night, he clung to Ying Shu and wept. "Big Brother will never leave you again."
He also showered Ying Shu with money and resources, determined to make him a top-tier star.
No. 2 clung to him every night, threatening through tears, "If you dare leave me, I'll turn into a ghost and haunt you for the rest of your life."
He followed Ying Shu around like an obsessed fan, practically wanting to put a tracking device on him.
Ying Shu: "..."
Stop adding scenes for me without asking!
[World Two: The Universally Hated Little Book Attendant Wants to Be Kicked Out]
You are a shared little book attendant in the circle of powerful nobles. You're stupid and bad with words, and often anger your masters. Because you're good-looking, you're sold from one person to another.
Your task: collect five contracts of indenture.
The data was gone, and Ying Shu had no idea where to sell himself. He had already ended up in a declining aristocratic family, as the personal attendant of a cool and aloof young master.
The bad news: The young master didn't want to enter government service. He wanted to become emperor.
Ying Shu: "Wow, so ambitious~ When are you going to sell me?"
When the young master ascended the throne, Ying Shu packed his things and slipped away, successfully getting himself sold. Then he made a mistake so his new master would sell him again.
He happily went to collect his third contract of indenture, only to discover that the person who bought him was his first master.
The once-elegant young nobleman had ascended the throne and become a complete lunatic.
Night after night, he tormented Ying Shu. While Ying Shu slept, he secretly locked a chain around his ankle. He wouldn't let Ying Shu do anything for himself, not even eat or bathe. He wanted to turn him into a useless plaything who did nothing but pleasure him...
One night, in the haze between sleeping and waking, Ying Shu heard a dangerous, crazed voice by his ear: "If you run again, I'll lock you up."
