On the night of Mid-Autumn Festival, a fallen leaf floated into the palm of my hand.
I subconsciously handed it to the left: "Li Yang."
No one answered. I forgot that he moved away when he was fourteen without even saying goodbye.
But when we were ten years old, we were also children clamoring for lanterns. The adults didn't buy it for me, so he encouraged me to make it myself. After picking leaves all afternoon, the lantern was not made, but it became a memory that I will think of every Mid-Autumn Festival.
He suddenly distanced himself from me before leaving, but I didn't ask. By the time I found out the seats were empty, it was already too late.
This year is the sixth Mid-Autumn Festival. I don't blame him.
The moon is full again, and the fallen leaves are still there.
