A friend asked me: "Do you remember Shang Shang?"
I remember. He comes to the classroom early every day and his desk is clean and tidy. Every time I walked in, he would look up, look at me, and smile. When school was over, he would say goodbye to everyone in the neighborhood—me included.
Later he went to Russia. A friend said that he didn't want to develop, but "didn't want to see the people he wanted to see anymore."
I asked what it meant. A friend said: Shang Shang only said hello to the classmate next to him for two days. You were the only one who greeted him every day after school.
It turns out that those "goodbyes" that I thought were commonplace were only said to me.
He always talks incoherently to me. Only on graduation day: "Chen Chen, happy graduation." That was the most coherent sentence he ever said.
Friends said that he left a message: "Never let you know."
But I still know it.
I know that those looks at each other, those smiles, and those "goodbyes" meant only to me, are all words he did not say.
The north wind is blowing outside the window. He is in Russia, where it should be colder than here.
I think, if it happens again, I will stay in the eyes for one more second.
Concept: Love should be expressed
