Immortal Blossoms on the Cliff, Simple Joys in the Mortal World
Qin Yao, the legitimate princess of a fallen kingdom, was once an overlooked presence in the cage of the imperial palace, living each day in fear. Fortunately, the Venerable Immortal of Wolong Cliff took pity on her, recognized her rare spiritual roots, and brought her back to the Qingyun Sect, where she became the sect's darling. With her elders and senior brothers and sisters looking after her, she gradually shed her timidity, and warmth filled her eyes and brows.
While out on a training journey, Qin Yao came across rogue cultivators attacking people in Qingyun Town, under the Qingyun Sect's jurisdiction. At the critical moment, Yan Qing, peak master of Fengyun Peak, the foremost sect, appeared. His bearing was peerless, and though he suffered from a chronic ailment, he saved Qin Yao. Learning that rare medicinal herbs were needed to treat his injury, the two set off together to find them.
When they reached Shushan Village, they encountered rogue cultivators causing trouble again. Together, they rescued the trapped elders and disciples of the Qingfeng Sect and wiped out every rogue cultivator. Then they heard that the key medicinal herb was in the mortal world, so they went there together, only to run into the mortal emperor who had imprisoned Qin Yao years ago. After a series of twists and turns, they finally found the herb.
Unexpectedly, rogue cultivators were capturing children in the lower realm, intending to sacrifice their lives to revive an ancient evil god and bring calamity upon the world. Qin Yao and Yan Qing stepped forward. After enduring countless hardships, they risked their lives to destroy the sacrificial formation, save every child, and thwart the rogue cultivators' plot.
With the dust settled, the two returned to the cultivation world together, their hearts in harmony as they journeyed side by side. Qin Yao had the sect as a solid refuge and Yan Qing devotedly protecting her. The sorrows of her former life in the imperial palace faded away, and she found peace and simple joy both on the path to immortality and in the mortal world.
