You Jerk of a Little Brother, Stealing My Daiyu

An accident caused the brothers Jiang Chibei and Jiang Yannan to transmigrate into Jia Baoyu at the same time.

Jiang Chibei had read the book and felt deeply for the clever, pitiful Lin Daiyu.

Jiang Yannan had watched the TV adaptation and fallen for the gentle, generous Xue Baochai.

So the two made a deal: Jiang Chibei would take over whenever Lin Daiyu was around, and Jiang Yannan would take over whenever Xue Baochai was around.

They were both satisfied.

But later, they realized they might not be able to return and would have to stay in the Jia household.

To avoid the fate of having their family confiscated and ending up on the streets, the brothers had to divide up their duties again.

Jiang Chibei, the older brother, would use his wits to contend with the people running the Jia household and change the family's fortunes.

Jiang Yannan, the younger brother, would handle everyday interactions with the sisters and avoid giving himself away.

Everything was going smoothly.

But soon, Jiang Chibei realized something was wrong.

He was working himself to the bone up front, while his younger brother was trying to steal the woman he loved right from under his nose?

"Jiang Yannan, explain this to me. Why are you at the Xiaoxiang Pavilion right now? Why are you carrying a purse embroidered by Daiyu? Don't forget what you promised me!"

Jiang Yannan: "I've changed my mind, bro. We've always liked the same things since we were kids, and now I've fallen for Lin Daiyu too. You understand, right?"
