Don't Mess with the Bunny Young Lord!

The young heir of the Prince of Zhaoning's household is courteous, well-read, and gentle, but he has suffered from a strange illness since childhood.

For a few days every month, a pair of snow-white rabbit ears appears on Ji Baozhu's head, and a soft little puffball with the most wonderful texture grows at the small of his back. He becomes intensely desperate for hugs and caresses.

When he was little, his parents could look after him. As he grew older, he could only pretend that he had recovered.

The young heir has no idea that the man he fears most, Kou Jing, can hear every word of his sweet, intermittent whimpers, like a kitten meowing into his quilt.

Kou Jing is the Prince of Zhaoning's adopted son, the commander of the imperial guards, and his sworn older brother.

-

Kou Jing is ruthless and iron-fisted, cold-hearted since childhood. Born a beggar, he entered the prince's household at seven and became a blade honed by the royal family, an object without feelings.

He dislikes Ji Baozhu, who cries all day long. He's too delicate. How could he survive in a turbulent age?

Until one night, when Kou Jing was on night watch, he heard something amiss inside the room and was about to burst in. Through the gauzy curtains came the young heir's broken, trembling voice:

"Big brother..."

The man's heart lurched. His long sword, which had never once wavered, nearly fell to the ground.

Recently, Ji Baozhu noticed that Kou Jing was avoiding him. He wouldn't look him in the eye when they spoke, and he kept at least three feet away whenever they were alone. If Ji Baozhu got too close, his brother would frown, blush, and sternly tell him to behave himself.

The young heir knew why.

Because of this strange illness, he had frightened who knew how many playmates.

He just hadn't expected the proud, cold royal hound to be afraid of him too.

Ji Baozhu curled his lips into a smile. "Come here, big brother. I have something to show you." I'll scare the life out of you!

He turned around and smugly lifted his hem, revealing a snow-white rabbit tail. Kou Jing really did turn beet red with shock. The young heir was just about to raise it higher so he could get a better look when suddenly his bottom felt cold.

...He was squeezed until he cried.

The man's voice was hoarse as he volunteered himself: "Does the heir need his subordinate at night?"
