I Pretend to Be a God in Ancient Egypt

Ji Ciying transmigrated.

She transmigrated to ancient Egypt over three thousand years ago, unlucky enough to arrive in a chaotic era: order had collapsed, royal power was divided, and foreign invaders were at the gates...

One careless move could cost her life.

The good news: transmigration came with a perk, and she activated a System.

The bad news: it was a rather useless dress-up System. Its effects were so dazzling that, while she was changing outfits, a temple priest mistook her for a reincarnated deity and installed her on a divine throne.

Ji Ciying wore a benevolent smile on the outside, while frantically praying inside: Don't let them find out. Don't let them find out!

Having boarded the System's pirate ship, Ji Ciying had no choice but to work hard to earn the faith points she needed to show off in public. Following the System's prompt, she came across a little girl who was nearly starving to death.

Historical records describe her as the most famous tyrant in ancient Egyptian history: breathtakingly beautiful, iron-fisted, slaughtering nobles, massacring priests, enslaving commoners, and ultimately destroying the last glory of the dynasty.

System: "To keep the faith points flowing, Host, you must raise her to become a wise ruler!"

Later, a statue of a goddess stood on the banks of the Nile.

The queen rested her head on the deity's lap and listened as she taught her how to collect taxes, maintain a balance of power, replace slaughter with the rule of law, and become an emperor for the ages.

The royal historian recorded:

Queen Akhenetiti, the abandoned and cursed daughter, was cruel and brutal, mercilessly bloodthirsty, and yet obeyed that deity in everything.

Only Ji Ciying knew that each night, the tyrant everyone spoke of would sneak into her bed and whisper,

"Teacher, can you teach me how to kiss a deity tonight?"

Ji Ciying fell into deep thought.

She seemed to have taught this student the wrong things.

[She teaches her to become a queen; she worships her as a goddess]
