Huai Linger had a dream. In it was a street forever shrouded in fog and darkness, a girl wearing a raincoat and a gas mask, and a shotgun with its barrel sawed off.
When she woke, her phone had turned into a white chrysanthemum, her shoelaces were tangled in fungal threads, and her life began to go off the rails.
She was swept into an alternate dimension called Fog Street, forced to sign a contract and become a "Gravekeeper," one of a group of misfits abandoned by their era. They guarded Fog Street, a cemetery of sorts, keeping people outside from coming in and things inside from getting out.
What she didn't know was that this street had known her for a long time.
Theme: An ordinary girl's growth and transformation in another world, and a group of people abandoned by their era finding a home on Fog Street.
