Drowned in the sea on a rainy night
Seventeen-year-old Lin Yu is a dying butterfly in a heavy rain, and twenty-three-year-old Yu Shangli is a lazy cat in the tavern.
When Lin Yu, who was covered with scars, broke into "Floating Life", Yu Shangli weaved a net with tenderness, trapping her in a warm cage. They licked each other's wounds in the smell of wine and the sound of rain, thinking they could ward off the malice of the world.
But Lin Yu's soul was already riddled with holes. When the shadow of bullying once again shrouded her, and when the darkness in her heart swallowed up the last glimmer of light, she chose to say goodbye in the most decisive way - jumping into the icy sea.
Yu Shangli guarded the empty tavern, waiting in hallucination for the butterfly that would never come back. The light that once illuminated Lin Yu eventually became the shackles that imprisoned him.
