Intertidal Zone

Long review of "Between Tides" I rarely read secret love articles, because the word "secret love" gives this relationship an unequal background from the beginning. In my existing impression, one side is always suffering and sinking, and the other side is unaware of it. Before opening this article, I did hesitate. I was well aware of the resistance to emotional inequality in my heart. I wasn't sure whether I could accept it, and I didn't know if I would get stuck in my throat while reading it. However, I still opened it because of a clip I saw on other platforms. The moment when Fu Shiyu repeatedly asked Shen Che if he liked him in the corner of the sofa was also the moment when Shen Che denied his feelings three times as a secret admirer. When I settled down to read this book seriously, I found that the secret love in my imagination or experience was completely different. The secret admirer was not the inferior person in the relationship, and the person being secretly admired was not always the one who had no fear. This contrast made me overwhelmed for a while and made me even more fascinated. Shen Che is not a crush who has a fruitless crush, he is a tough, upright but gentle and bright character. Shen Che has been following Fu Shiyu's footsteps and wants to stand on the same level as Fu Shiyu. In my opinion, if he loves Fu Shiyu, why doesn't he love himself who has made a world for himself? Shen Che is not like those young men who were born with a golden key in their mouths. He stepped from a small town in Qingchuan County to the position of CEO of a Hong Kong listed company. What he paid was heavier and more difficult than others. However, we can never use such frivolous words as "because he loves Fu Shiyu" to easily get rid of all his struggles and journeys. So I would say that he loves Fu Shiyu, and he also loves himself who works hard. So I would say that even if such a person is a secret admirer, he will not be a subordinate in the relationship. Let's talk about Fu Shiyu. Although he has a prominent family background and is what people call "born in Rome", he has never ignored Shen Che, who started from scratch. Why didn't I say that he "never despised or ridiculed Shen Che"? Because in his world, busyness itself has filtered out such emotions - he will simply ignore those insignificant people and never be willing to spend extra effort. Because of this, I said that he never ignored Shen Che. In this way, the moment the person in the cloud touches his true heart, he will change his all-powerful image in the vanity fair. He will become embarrassed, entangled, and become a coward. That's what I find so fascinating about this character, that the person at the top of Vanity Fair is emotionally insecure. It is undeniable that both people are imperfect in their relationship. Because Shen Che has been secretly in love for too long, the two thoughts of "wanting to stand by Fu Shiyu's side" and "becoming worthy of Fu Shiyu" often drive him to put his career first - this is not his fault. However, due to family reasons and personal reasons, Fu Shiyu often lacks a sense of security and needs more companionship from his partner, while Shen Che focuses more on his career, which inevitably causes friction between them. The episode that made me most flustered was undoubtedly the part when Fu Shiyu said he was breaking up. The string in my mind snapped. At that moment, I thought I was angry. Shen Che has loved you for more than ten years and we finally got together, so why did he just break up? But actually I think I understand Fu Shiyu. He is fragile, sensitive, and insecure. When he sees Shen Che exhausted to the extreme, he will shrink back. He is afraid that he is causing Shen Che so much pain, and whether Shen Che would have an easier time without this relationship. He felt that there was nothing he could do for Shen Che, so the only way was to push Shen Che away, so he broke up. But only when this fuse explodes can the problems between them be solved. I originally thought that Shen Che's long secret love would make him the first to retreat in this storm. However, unexpectedly, he was more afraid of losing Fu Shiyu than I imagined, and he also loved Fu Shiyu more. When there was a typhoon, roads were closed, and the sea was sailing, he never looked back. Even when he almost got into a car accident, what he was afraid of was that Fu Shiyu would feel guilty. His love for Fu Shiyu was as deep as an abyss and as passionate as flames. Of course, Fu Shiyu is fully worthy of Shen Che's love. Love should not be sarcastic words, nor should it be self-righteous fulfillment. May we all have the courage to catch each other in love and not be the coward who turns around and runs away first. (This is the first long review in my life dedicated to the author! I really like this novel 🤗. I am very glad that I finally opened it. Even more fortunately, the teacher gave me a completely unexpected answer regarding "secret love". When Shen Che almost had a car accident, his first reaction was that he was afraid that Fu Shiyu would feel guilty. At that moment, I truly understood that what the teacher wrote was not a story about secret love, but a story about courage, about rushing, and about how two imperfect people tried their best to catch each other. Thank you, the author, for making me believe that secret love can be so dignified and so evenly matched. Thank you for writing Shen Che and Fu Shiyu, two characters that will always remain in my heart. Please keep writing. Your words have light and warmth, which always make people read them quietly. I will keep reading and waiting. May every story you want to write bloom. In addition, I also want to say a few words about the teacher's writing style. It is not the type of strong and publicity, and it is different from the fast-food style of writing on the Internet. It is a restrained and calm narrative, light, not immature at all, very mature, and every word falls where it should. There is a quiet power in reading it. It is neither noisy nor noisy, but it can make people fall into it unconsciously. And it can be seen that the teacher has put real effort into economics and finance - the writing is solid but not showy, accurate but not obscure, and it naturally grows in the bones and blood of the characters, making the characters stand up instantly. )

Full booking and check-in!!! It's really good-looking. The sub-CP is also delicious.

Uh... There's a bit of a split behind it

. ? Teacher, this is his, right...? I read the latest chapter in one breath and saw this result. I don't accept it. Wuwuwuwuwu.

Damn it, it's obviously a full order, why do I always feel like I missed something? Hum hum hum, the beauty plot is not mentioned in the text, and there are many things that are not written. My imaginative brain is almost cramped, and I can't imagine what happened between the two of them in private?

Workers can't understand words like DD 😂

I really like the group portraits in this chapter. The friendship is sometimes more touching and heartwarming.
