1. This is a derivative work of Douluo Dalu and draws on both the novel and the manga. The character designs are based on the manga. (Manga Yu Tianxin is exactly my type.)
2. Spirit Hall will not be whitewashed. In the author's view, the war started by Spirit Hall remains unjust.
3. The author is a huge fan of all things ocean-related, so the Evil Orca King, Deep Sea Demon Whale, Sea God Island, and related plotlines will be substantially reworked.
4. Tang San's protagonist halo will be weakened. Based on the author's research into divinity and personal understanding, Tang San will lose his position as the Sea God. Someone else will inherit it, and the trials to become a god will also be substantially reworked.
