After transmigrating into the TVB version of A Better Tomorrow, Hua Gangsheng became the tragic male lead who shared his name. He had only watched as far as the part where Lu Depei drove Xia Qing to her death, so Hua Gangsheng didn't know what happened next. Even after giving up on becoming a police officer, he still couldn't escape fate's cruel tricks, and ended up on a path of no return...
Theme: True love is never a sin. The fault lies not in the heart, but in a fate beyond our control. A truly happy ending has never been about power or fame. It's about shedding the shackles of every identity and breaking free of blood ties, so that two people can love openly and spend their lives together in peace, with nothing to hide.
