As the Empire's foremost Omega, Princess Yu Luo was strikingly beautiful and born to nobility, the apple of the royal family's eye. She had every quality of an untouchable flower on a high peak.
Everyone secretly wondered what kind of Alpha such a noble Omega could possibly fall for.
Would it be her absolutely loyal aide, the refined young duke she'd been engaged to since childhood, or the marquis who spent most of his time abroad guarding the borders?
The person in question had this to say: Thanks for asking. None of them are my type.
Then one day, Yu Luo had a dream. When she woke, her face was flushed red with anger.
In the dream, she had become the vicious villainess in a melodramatic romance novel. The more powerful her background, the stupider the author made her when forcing her to lose all sense.
She fell in love at first sight with a newly enrolled Alpha at the military academy, but didn't know how to express herself because of her personality. So she picked fights with him at every turn, pushing him further and further away until he hated her and swore that one day, when their positions were reversed, he'd crush her underfoot.
In the end, he did just that.
At the end of the story, the hero overthrew the Empire and established the Federation, attaining immense power and glory. The heroine, the daughter of a minor noble, never got her unrequited love returned, but she gave the hero resources and connections, and her family rose to great heights overnight.
Everyone got a happy ending. Everyone, that is, except Yu Luo, the vicious villain who had caused endless trouble. She ended up hated by all, with her family destroyed and her country fallen.
Yu Luo, about to lose her country and be trampled underfoot: What do I do? My fists are itching.

Ulysses never considered himself lucky.
With a drunken father, a gambling-addicted mother, and a home that was always on the verge of falling apart, if he hadn't been an Alpha with a strong physique, he probably would have died in some alley long ago.
His life truly began when he received his acceptance letter from the Imperial Military Academy.
"Our academy doesn't have many rules. Just remember to be careful at all times. You can provoke anyone you like, but never the princess," an upperclassman in charge of orientation warned him.
Ulysses found the advice strange, but took it to heart. He kept to designated areas, avoided talking to anyone unless necessary, and lived like a ghost.
Then, a week later, a group of people suddenly appeared, kidnapped him, and forced him to his knees, pinning his shoulders down.
The princess, whose moods were said to be as changeable as the weather, sat at the head of the room. Her gaze roamed over him again and again without the slightest attempt to hide it, finally coming to rest on his face.
Ulysses heard the cruelty in her voice:
"At least you have a nice face."
"What a shame."

The princess was a cruel person.
She bullied him, controlled him, and relentlessly oppressed him. She toyed with his feelings, then tossed him aside without hesitation...
Ulysses gritted his teeth and secretly swore that one day, he would make her pay for every bit of it.
Until, at Yu Luo's coronation, he knelt on one knee as a newly knighted vassal. Facing his sovereign, he could not hide the overwhelming joy in his eyes as he pledged his loyalty:
"I swear that I will belong to you entirely until Death claims my soul. Your will is the light that guides my steps."
"I will defend your glory with my life, until my final breath."
#Reader's Note:
1. Special setting: Members of the royal family who carry royal blood are naturally unaffected by heat and rut cycles. The heroine can smell pheromones but isn't influenced by them, and she cannot be permanently marked.
2. Male Alpha, female Omega, straight romance. Don't get them mixed up.
3. The synopsis makes this sound like a romance, but the novel is split evenly between romance and plot, with elements of Zerg, mecha, competitions, and military academy life.
4. The heroine is vicious, willful, and forever high above everyone else.
5. The male lead is a virgin. He suffers and resists in the beginning, but later falls hard and begs for the heroine's attention, delighting in what she delights in and hating what she hates.
6. This is a work born of the author's unrestrained tastes. Please don't flame it if it's not for you. No need to say goodbye if you drop it.
7. Set in a fictional world, with a completely imaginary background.
8. That's all for now. I'll add more if I think of anything.
Theme: Study hard and make progress every day.
