At the end of the Yu Dynasty, warlords vied for supremacy, with Zhou the strongest among them. A descendant of the reclusive historian clan, the Taishi, emerged from seclusion to serve Zhou. King Zhou accepted the Yu Emperor's surrender. The Yu Emperor suddenly fell gravely ill and vomited. King Zhou's horse panicked, and he accidentally fell into the Yu Emperor's vomit.
At that moment, no one dared to move. Only Taishi Yi wrote furiously: "The king fell into the vomit. His clothes and headgear were filthy, and the stench was unbearable. His attendants covered their noses and dared not approach."
Then he added: "His mouth, nose, clothes, and headgear were all filthy."
King Zhou: Rewrite the history!
Yi: That is our family motto. I'm afraid I must refuse.
King Zhou: Rewrite it or die!
Taishi Yi (quickly dashes into a pillar): You said it, not me.
[Player adds a family motto: Record every detail, no matter how small]
Taishi Yi died after crashing into the pillar, and his younger sister, Taishi Lan, took over his position.
Emperor Zhou: Rewrite the history, or die!
Taishi Lan (getting a running start): Of course!
Emperor Zhou: Never mind, don't rewrite it!
The first thing Taishi Lan did after taking office was go count the members of the X family, who had been executed along with their entire clan.

Later generations all said that the Great Zhou's historical records were more detailed than any other dynasty's, thanks to its historians, especially the Taishi, a family of historians.
[The Taishi name began with old Yi. One line from him made King Zhou stink for a thousand years.]
