Never Expected

For reasons unknown, Bai Jiangci’s master offends the Baiyun Sect, a demonic cult, and is hunted down. After his master dies a tragic death, Bai Jiangci joins the Yueming Sect, where he meets the second son of the Liu family, Liu Qingze. Bai Jiangci has rarely seen anyone so handsome, but Liu Qingze seems to dislike him a little?

Bai Jiangci holds a grudge. As they spend more time together, Liu Qingze falls for him. Out of spite, Bai Jiangci keeps stringing him along, constantly tempting him and then backing off at the crucial moment, leaving Liu Qingze frustrated and helpless.

To avenge his master, Bai Jiangci joins the Baiyun Sect and secretly does bad things while concealing his true identity. When he runs into Liu Qingze and the others during their travels, he can’t help teasing him again. At first, Liu Qingze barely gives the disguised Bai Jiangci the time of day. One time, Bai Jiangci tries to get Liu Qingze drunk, but ends up getting drunk himself. He lets the truth slip while intoxicated, and Liu Qingze learns who he really is. Bai Jiangci forgets everything when he sobers up, and Liu Qingze doesn’t expose him.

Because Bai Jiangci had been hiding his identity, Liu Qingze has always treated him coldly. This only makes Bai Jiangci’s teasing more and more brazen. Once Liu Qingze learns who he is, he plays along with the teasing and takes him… Bai Jiangci ends up on the losing end. Unwilling to stay on the bottom, he tries to turn the tables several times, but fails each time and suffers for it. In the end, he can only lie there and let Liu Qingze have his way.
