My Dead Boyfriend

Blurb One

Ming He bought an unusual house.

The landlord seemed eager to sell and asked for far less than the market price. She tentatively haggled and managed to save tens of thousands more.

As the saying goes, when things seem too good to be true, something strange is usually going on. After moving into her new home, Ming He ruefully discovered that the saying was right, just not quite accurate enough.

There were no monsters in the house, but there was a ghost.

Ming He had always had a vague sort of intuition, though it worked only some of the time.

So it took her a while to confirm that she really was living with a ghost, and that her housemate was a handsome, gentle, quiet, and introverted male ghost.

Her solitary life had become a shared one, and Ming He happily accepted the change, getting along well with the ghost.

Ming He went out early and came home late, working to earn a living. The male ghost diligently cleaned the house, then gradually started cooking for her and helping with customer inquiries for her side business.

As they continued living together with their clear division of labor, their bond quickly grew closer. Ming He declared that the male ghost was the best friend she had made since coming to the city.

But it seemed he wanted to be more than her friend.

One day, the male ghost went to great lengths to enter the dream of Ming He's blind date. Once inside, though, he didn't say a word. He just stood by the man's bed and silently wept.

Naturally, the blind date ran off in fright.

Ming He heard about the bizarre incident after some investigation, then cornered the guilty-looking ghost in their shared home.
