Qin Huai x Qin Yan
Qin Yan was the kid next door. I never saw his parents.
All I remember is that one day, my dad brought him home and told me to get along with our little neighbor.
He opened his mouth and babbled, a baby tooth poking out. He even put his fingers in his mouth and sucked on them. It made me really uncomfortable, and I couldn't help wanting to pull his fingers out. But just then, his little hand, covered in drool, grabbed my index finger!
Kind of gross, but so cute.
Back then, I thought he was just passing through and would soon leave again.
But he never went back. Instead, he became a new member of our family.
After that, we became "friendly brothers."
I don't know why he kept calling me big brother, and eventually I forgot why, too...
