On Gotham's cold, endless rainy nights, a series of murders imitating the Joker brings BAU chief Aaron Hotchner to this city of sin.
A profiler who represents law and order crosses paths with Gotham's guardian, who walks in the darkness.
The abyss faces off against order, two formidable forces collide, and the truth is that their growing feelings can no longer be hidden.
Theme: Set against a string of murders in Gotham, this story follows the city's guardian, Bruce Wayne, and Hotchner, a profiler who upholds order, as they join forces to hunt down the killer. Both carry heavy burdens from their pasts. Through suspicion and confrontation, they draw closer and save each other. From being at odds to trusting one another, they ultimately find a place to stand side by side between the abyss and the light. The story aims to show that darkness and order are not opposites, that steadfastness and tenderness can overcome any divide, and that love and justice can endure through the longest night.
