To put it simply, the male lead has five consciousnesses sharing one body: the same person's three-year-old self, sixteen-year-old self, twenty-one-year-old self, an old geezer of unknown age, and a male consciousness. That's why he's the "male lead."
The male lead looks human but doesn't act like one, especially the oldest one, commonly known as Big Granny. She's the legendary scumbag Divine Controller. The other consciousnesses are a little better, but since they're still the same person, not much better.
The story mainly involves two citadels. One is a non-corrupted citadel abandoned by Big Granny.
