For the Peaceful Life of My Metropolis

* The romance is mainly in the extras!

* The timeline has been shifted, pushing the founding of the Justice League much later. The Justice League storyline begins after the entire Batfamily has come together.

I am a reporter who longs for a quiet life.

I am a Gothamite who doesn't like Batman.

Though I have a few extraordinary experiences and a few extraordinary friends,

I'm a normal person.

And as a normal person,

I fled to Metropolis, the legendary peaceful and tranquil place, to get away from those human superheroes.

But on my second day in Metropolis, I got mugged.

In my first week there, aliens invaded Metropolis.

In my second week, the Riddler and the Joker invaded Metropolis.

Me: ...

How much did Superman pay the reporters who claimed Metropolis was safe?!

The superheroes: ...

We have nothing to say to someone who likes to rush headfirst into everything and always carries a bunch of bugs and bombs on them.

The Riddler: Can someone please tell Dennis that people with control issues can't have a quiet life?

The Birds: If you badmouth Batman in front of Dennis, he'll refute you point by point while insisting that he's always hated Batman.

Theme: People begin to be happy the moment they decide to be.
