The Little Cabin for Cubs in Another World

If living is only about making money and keeping up appearances, how much time is left for happiness?

At twenty-six, Ye Rong found himself adrift.

After being laid off, going through a breakup, and getting kicked out by his landlord, he gave up on trying to live, or even just survive.

Feeling he had so little to his name, Ye Rong didn't want life to keep pushing him around. Then, unexpectedly, he inherited a cramped, rundown wooden cabin that could take him to another world.

There were no spirits crushed by the grind of life, no endless torment and pain, only vast grasslands, quiet forests,

and a group of round, chubby, adorable little ones who sat outside the door every day, waiting for him to come home.

Lying on the soft grass, he felt one little cub after another roll over and flop onto his chest.

Ye Rong let out a sigh of relief.

So living could be easy after all.

"Mommy stinky! Stinky!"

The little dumplings, who usually loved throwing themselves into Ye Rong's arms, ran away as soon as they saw him.

Ye Rong laughed in exasperation. He dropped the beastkin he'd barely managed to drag home onto the ground, then hurried over to pick up the cubs and nuzzle them to his heart's content.

Today, he hadn't brought back a cub. He'd found a beastkin covered in blood.

Seeing how the stranger was barely breathing, Ye Rong couldn't help worrying.

What should he do? All he had left at home was the cubs' milk porridge. Could he really save this person?
