On a late night when her flight was delayed, she hid in an expensive capsule pod.
Three pigeon eggs drew her into a gentle dream.
In the dream, a clean-cut boy stood with green butterfly wings floating behind him. He said, "There's a demon inside you. I can see it."
With red eyes, she retorted, "What gives you the right to control me? You're not my husband!"
And there was the kind starlight who had long since passed away, lifting her into his arms. He wanted nothing, and looked at her with nothing but tenderness.
She broke down and demanded, "Why did you break up with me?"
He said, "I've always loved you. You just loved the wrong person back then, and I didn't want to make things difficult for you."
When she woke, the pigeon eggs were gone.
It turned out that embrace was fate, using gentleness as its shell, to hold her broken self.
May every girl who's lost her way be gently held up.
