[Crossover] I Have a Question to Ask

In a dim room, the screen's faint glow fell across the face of a blond man.

Theodore Croft, a reliable BAU agent and a pillar of the FBI (self-appointed), was browsing an anonymous forum recommended with great enthusiasm by his adorable colleague. He registered a new account, hesitated for ten minutes, and finally typed out a title:

[I have a question I'd like to ask,]

The cursor blinked. The man deleted it, typed again, and deleted it once more.

Another ten minutes passed before he finally gave up revising and hit post:

[How do I confess to a colleague I haven't seen in years?]

Believing strangers online can help me find love is like believing every BAU suspect will turn themselves in.

Theodore stood in the arrivals hall at Narita Airport, took off his sunglasses, and gave a rakish smile.

I'd better rely on myself after all.

An original character, Croft, an all-round star of the BAU and a dependable agent who lowers the department's average age x Akai Shuichi, a famous actor in the Detective Conan world, who spends 366 days a year on rooftops, has a movie-level plot armor, and raises the department's average IQ.

The story focuses on solving cases. The Detective Conan main plot begins in the middle and later parts. Early on, the main stage is a crossover of American TV shows, movies, and games, with Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, and Hannibal taking up most of the story. There will also be a little Castle and Resident Evil (the game), among other things. If you spot a setting inconsistency, please first consider whether it's the author's personal addition or a mistake, then let me know. In any case, thanks for reading, and corrections are welcome.

The pairing came about because I suddenly thought, Akai-san is FBI too, so why not have him join our door-kicking squad? And that's how it happened...
