Pairing: Bruce Wayne
O'Lyon is a daddy's boy.
Unfortunately, he has three dads.
His biological father died young. His father's colleague spent everything he had to save him, then sent him to the boss after a series of handoffs.
He treats the boss as his second dad, but the boss doesn't acknowledge it. No matter: O'Lyon, ever the dutiful son, will do his filial duty anyway.
His third dad is an utterly ordinary rich programmer. A hopelessly good person.
O'Lyon knows that good people never get a happy ending, so he is always coming up with ways to protect his frail adoptive father.
Tracking, wiretapping, having his robot sister act when the moment comes and keep him informed at all times.
Until one day, they have a huge argument over who the [Machine] belongs to. O'Lyon leaves New York as a result, using a back door in the [Machine] to venture out on his own.
Then he meets an incomparable paragon of goodness.
The good guy is handsome, smart, and strong. Most importantly, he never plays games when it comes to feelings, making him exactly O'Lyon's type.
They become partners, friends, lovers, confidants, and romantic partners.
Then they break up.
One heads to New York, the other to Gotham. These two privacy-conscious control freaks don't hesitate for half a second on account of their personal relationship. They leave without looking back.
"Finch, how come you never told me you had a son?"
"You know me. I value my privacy, Mr. Reese."
"Well, did you know your son is gay?" Reese lowers the binoculars. He really doesn't want to keep watching his boss's son making out with Gotham's richest man behind the floor-to-ceiling windows of Wayne Tower.
The communications channel falls deathly silent.
Looks like he didn't know.
