That was his younger brother, his companion. He had cast him into Hell with his own hands, placing them on opposite sides of the scales.

But hadn't fate said they would be together forever?

When they met again, Lucifel discovered that the other had become human. The man blinked at him in confusion and asked if he was an angel.

He didn't see the cold light in Lucifer's eyes as he turned away, the gaze coiling around him like a venomous snake.

After the War of Angels, Lucifer, once an archangel, fell and became the demon king Satan, sleeping in the depths of Hell. All of Heaven and Earth mourned his fate.

As he slept, everything around him was pitch-black. Only a familiar presence that appeared from time to time filled his mind.

When he awoke again, that familiar presence had long since vanished.
