After I Coaxed the Aloof Beauty Onto the Back of My E-Bike [GB]

The day she received the text announcing her promotion, the heroine stood leaning against her secondhand electric scooter, a plain Pocky stick between her lips, lost in thought.

Be his bodyguard?

The money's good, at least.

After all, that young master and she were worlds apart.

The first time he came to her home, he froze for five seconds in front of the red plastic stool.

The bed frame creaked as soon as he sat down, making his face turn bright red.

Even riding on the back of her scooter made him nervous.

"Are you sure this is safe? You aren't even wearing a helmet..."

"Shut up."

"..."

"Hold on tight. If you fall off, that's your problem."

So the usually aloof young master put on her pink helmet and gave a red-eared "Mm."

Then he carefully reached out his slender fingers and clutched her pilled synthetic jacket even tighter.

Later, someone asked him, "How did you end up falling for her?"

He smiled without saying a word.

He was simply remembering that rainy night three years ago, when she pushed her scooter toward him against the light, helped him, covered in mud, up off the ground,

then slapped him without the slightest hesitation.

A down-to-earth heroine full of everyday grit × a wealthy young master drawn into the ordinary world
