A deranged, gloomy male ghost x a clear-headed, seductive beauty
Li Sheng isn't a good person. He's jealous of his older brother.
They are both sons of a deposed crown prince, but Li Sheng can only suffer abuse from servants at a Taoist temple, huddling in a corner to escape the cold wind.
His older brother, meanwhile, gets to be the only son in another family, with power and wealth, doting parents, and a fiancée who is devoted to him.
Li Sheng bared his teeth and decided to steal his sister-in-law.
Xu Youqiao first sensed that something was wrong with her husband while they were in bed.
Her husband had always been tender with her in bed, his touch on her hair as delicate as if he feared she might be fragile porcelain.
At some point, that tenderness changed. His restraint became forceful, his affection possessive.
He held her firmly in his arms, making it hard to breathe. Their repeated entanglements left her body aching and limp, even her fingertips tinged red with weakness.
Li Sheng pressed his fingertips to her delicate skin, caressing the vulnerable pulse at her neck. His voice was hoarse as he said, "Call me by my name."
Every time, Xu Youqiao liked to tease him. She curled her arms around his neck, brushed her nose against his bobbing Adam's apple, drew close, and spoke softly: "Langjun Song~"
Though he had asked for it himself, the moment Li Sheng heard her answer, he became like a dog stripped of its bones, his fur bristling and a menacing aura radiating from him, scorching desire churning in his eyes.
He crushed her against his chest. Resentment and jealousy consumed him, all of it turning into a night of passion.
