The Cannon Fodder Maidservant Wins by Lying Low with Sign-Ins

With one foot tripping over the other, Lian Qiao transmigrated into the body of a lowly maid in ancient times who coveted wealth and status. In the original story, she tried to seduce the male lead, was framed for theft, and died in shame after smashing her head against a pillar. She was a cannon-fodder character. Luckily, she had only just been sold into the Rong household and was still a laundress. Her scripted death was a long way off. If she worked hard and used her monthly wages to grease a few palms, she might even become a sweeping maid. Even better, she got a sign-in System. Signing in at the laundry room earned her a fragrant bar of soap. At the main kitchen, she got a big bowl of Dongpo pork. In the embroidery room, she received a Suzhou embroidery handkerchief, which someone wanted to buy for five taels of silver! Even a maid could lie flat. * A fictional setting with assorted elements. Theme: Live well.
