Fujiwara Chiya, a top-tier star game reviewer with tens of millions of followers across the internet.
He never hesitates to spend big in games, and his reviews are always brutally sharp. One day, he was invited to beta-test a mysterious game called Dimension Arena, touted as a "Higher-Dimensional Sports Project."
After playing through the Prince of Tennis, figure skating, and Kuroko's Basketball routes, he gave his verdict: boring.
In the spirit of "seeing things through to the end," he planned to finish the final volleyball scenario and then uninstall the game for good, only to be firmly trapped by the furious higher-dimensional System:
[You dare give this System's masterpiece a bad review? Then don't even think about logging out! You can return to reality only after winning the full set of sports Grand Slam titles!]
The System also set strict rules: he had to maintain his refined young master persona and follow the options it provided to the letter, or face bizarre punishments, such as performing a cute otaku dance in public or handing water to his nemesis while praising him with, "You're really amazing."
And so...
[Ding! Choice triggered: In response to Tōru Oikawa's teasing, choose A. Fire back with a sharp retort | B. Ignore him coldly | C. Give him a haughty, dismissive reply]
[Reward for choosing C: Kneel and sing "Conquer"; reward for choosing B: Step in dog poop when you go out; reward for choosing A: The System will force you to shout "You're so amazing, Oikawa-senpai!" ten times!]
Fujiwara Chiya: B.
System: [...Fine. You've got guts.]
When a perfectly polished young master collides with passionate Haikyuu!! boys, and a sharp-tongued human meets a ridiculous System, this forced journey to the Grand Slam is destined to turn the entire sports anime world upside down.
"I just wanted to quit the game. I didn't sign up to become a volleyball ace."
Theme: With a calm yet resolute attitude, break through prejudice and forge bonds through competition, showing the power of youthful spirit through one's abilities.
