A lot of the story is determined by dice rolls, so it's kind of a semi-Anko story. But I've removed all the dice-rolling bits, so just imagine that the rolls are hidden throughout! If the plot suddenly gets mysterious, it's definitely the dice's fault. (Passing the buck.)

The author has terrible luck with dice.

(Has anyone really succeeded at every single roll in a tabletop RPG, only to critically fail at the very end and come face-to-face with an eldritch god?)

(Has anyone really played BG3 and averaged at least two critical failures in every five combat rolls?)

The protagonist's name is a joke.

Yoshikage Kira probably won't show up much. (Yeah.)
