Falling for My Hero

A love story set during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. Unable to bear my boyfriend's betrayal, I chose to end my dull, fruitless life by taking my own. Crying out that genius is envied by heaven and beauties are doomed to die young, I leapt from the window with noble resolve, proclaiming that a peerless beauty had perished. When I woke again, the stars had shifted and the world had changed. Everything was different. I had landed across the Yalu River, in the era of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. There I met my hero, a truly peerless champion. This is a love story set during the war, with a little comedy and patriotism. If that's not your thing, read no further. I dedicate this story to the heroes who gave their precious lives on the Korean battlefield. They defended our homeland and upheld its dignity. If you spot any historical inaccuracies, please point them out. Everything in this story is fictional. Some of the names are homophones standing in for the real names of historical heroes. After all, this is only a romance, and I don't want my story to tarnish the heroes' souls.
