The first thing Yabuki Kanade encountered in Yokohama was half of his living room being sliced away by an ability.

Wind rushed in, sending the curtains flying. Off in the distance, the Port Mafia was in a gunfight. He stood amid the ruins, holding his phone, his expression calm.

A boy approached. He had brown eyes, bandages wrapped around him, and a breezy smile. "Poor thing, your house is gone. It's dangerous here. Let's run away, okay?"

Yabuki Kanade looked at his face and decided that sounded good.

And so Yabuki Kanade began running between school and the Port Mafia.

Later, Dazai revealed his plan: "We'll do this and that, then defect!"

Yabuki Kanade agreed at once. "Sounds perfect to me. It's decided!"

Oda Sakunosuke had listened to the whole conversation from the side and said he had no objections.

Ango adjusted his glasses. "Wait, wait, wait, is this right???"

Nobody paid him any attention.

But why did Dazai's plan include helping him become prime minister?

Yabuki Kanade: "I never said I really wanted to be prime minister!"

Dazai: "Hehe, forcing Kanade to become prime minister is so much fun."
