Fushiguro Haruto was known as the Heavenly Restriction Tyrant in middle-school tennis, just as his brother was in the jujutsu world.
Every match he played ended in an absolute 6-0 rout. Like a tyrant who would brook no dissent, he gave his opponents no chance to fight back.
Apart from putting on a show as the “Wreck-It King” on the court, what made people hate this guy the most was his mouth.
The line he said most often was:
“Yo~ You geniuses with your fancy special effects can’t even beat a worthless nobody like me?”
The opponents crushed by the tyrant: Wait, which of us is the “genius” and which is the “worthless nobody”?!
But not long after the new school year began, people from other schools heard that the captain of Rikkai’s tennis team had changed!
The opponents: Huh? Which hero succeeded in staging a coup?!
Yukimura Seiichi, the “hero” ^_^: .
Following clues from their seniors, the new club members found the legendary captain up in a tree.
Fushiguro Haruto yawned impatiently. “All right, let’s play a match. If you win, you can be captain.”
The new members: ? Something about this doesn’t seem right.
After successfully dumping the captaincy on someone else, another court in the club got wrecked.
In his left hand, Fushiguro Haruto held the “evidence” of wrongdoing, jointly submitted by the rest of the club. In his right, he held the tennis club’s deficit statement, handed to him by the new captain, Yukimura.
Fushiguro Haruto finally came to his senses.
“Mouri, what if I go into my brother’s old line of work and become a kept man to make money?”
Mouri’s mouth twitched. “After destroying the club’s court, your conclusion is to become a kept man?”
That sounds like a lucrative career (not really).
Seriously, can’t you, Tyrant, learn some self-control?
Bastard!
[Reading Guide]
1. Rikkai’s 16+3 lineup is set in stone.
2. The protagonist isn’t a power-based cannonball player. Blowing up the court is just a hobby.
3. The protagonist is Toji’s younger brother. He escaped the Zenin family with Toji as a child, met Megumi’s mom, and got the chance to play tennis because of her, which is also why he went to school at Rikkai. His personality is a lot like Toji’s: kind of a scumbag.
4. The protagonist is in the same year as the senior, Mouri. The senior is set as the strongest.
5. Unless something goes wrong, the story will cover U17 and the World Cup.
6. This is a happy ending world. In my version, Megumi’s mom’s surname is Fushiguro, and everyone survives!
