Heart Signal

Lin Xi is a third-year literature student at Jiang University. Quiet and reserved, she keeps a secret in her heart: she's had a crush on Gu Chuan, the campus heartthrob from the architecture department, for exactly 321 days.

To get closer to him, she secretly audits his architecture classes, waits in the library for a chance to see him at his usual seat, and shows up every Friday without fail beneath the plane tree outside his classroom, all for a carefully planned "chance encounter."

She thinks her crush is bound to go nowhere, until a sudden rainstorm prompts Gu Chuan to hold his coat over her head. His words, "Let's exchange contact information," send ripples through her peaceful world.
