The government sent over a "special observer."

He was a moon that should have hung high in the night sky, cool and solitary.

When he arrived at this "ruined citadel," long since corroded by darkness and riddled with cracks and suspicion, the swordsmen tightened their grips on their sword hilts, their eyes full of wariness.

Yet Mikazuki Munechika merely adjusted his hunting robe, spread out a tea set beneath the withered cherry tree, and smiled warmly.

"Well, this old man isn't much good at fighting. If I could have a cup of tea, that would be even better."

He didn't use any thunderous methods. He simply planted flowers, drank tea, and occasionally dozed in the corridor.

But little by little, Heshikiri Hasebe stopped waking in a panic in the middle of the night, and Yamanbagiri's hand slowly dropped from the hood of his cloak...

The once lifeless ruin was now in an uproar over who would win a spot for "daily bedtime companionship (tea drinking)."

Everyone wanted to offer him the finest treasures in the world, only to discover

He had healed the rest of their lives, while their clumsy affection kept this solitary moon in the human world forever.
