[An anthology of stories about eunuchs] Currently building up a backlog. The story next door has gotten me down, so I'm coming here to stockpile some chapters and cheer myself up (lol).
Story One:
A man as thin as a stalk came to Chun Dong Village. He was very tall, with a pale face, and the villagers said he looked like a ghost.
But Kuqiao thought he was handsome, just much too thin, as if a gust of wind might knock him over.
Kuqiao heard that a lot of people in the village disliked him.
"Oh dear... He's a eunuch. Just look at him, at that face. He looks like a woman."
"What a disaster. Our village is going to be cursed now."
"How can we let a eunuch move in..."
One day, Kuqiao finally got to speak to the clean, handsome man.
She wasn't one to beat around the bush, so she went straight up and asked him:
"Hey, are you really a eunuch?"
From then on, Kuqiao and the eunuch were entangled with each other, never to be free again.
Story Two:
Feng Le is the adopted daughter of Feng Rui, the Director of the Directorate of Ceremonial Affairs and a brush-holder. He took her in when she was five, and she has been with him for twelve years.
Feng Le has grown into a young woman and learned about love, but the person she has fallen for is Feng Rui himself. So Feng Rui often avoids her.
Until Feng Le discovers Feng Rui's personal writings in his study.
"Let affection arise, but let it stop at propriety."
He isn't a gentleman, yet he insists on pretending to be one.
Feng Le barges into Feng Rui's room and wraps her arms around him, still dressed only in his underclothes. Tears and snot smear across him as she shouts:
"You're a eunuch, not a gentleman!"
After avoiding her for so long, Feng Rui feels her soft warmth against him. He freezes, unable to push her away.
He can't resist her.
That's right, Feng Rui is just a eunuch. He doesn't have to follow the way of gentlemen.
