My Family Is Not a Family of Calamity!

After accidentally bumping his head, five-year-old Shi Man heard an extra voice inside it.

The voice claimed to come from the future. It said he was about to die, and that after his death, his father would suffer a backlash from his supernatural ability and become a catastrophic threat to humanity. The Shi family would become a family of calamity, feared by everyone, and destroy the entire world.

Manman scrunched up his little face. "No way! Manman doesn't believe it. Manman's dad peels the tastiest mangoes for him and takes him out for kids' meals with toys after work. He's the best dad in the whole world! And there's Grandpa and Grandma, and all his uncles and aunts..."

The little one listed his family members like treasures, trying to argue back.

"Manman!"

The hospital room door opened. Hearing his father's voice, little Shi Man looked up. Before he could say a word, his father pulled him into his arms, one hand trembling uncontrollably.

Little Shi Man reached up in confusion and wrapped his arms around his father's neck. In a soft voice, he said, "Daddy? Manman's right here."

After humanity gained supernatural abilities, the world grew even more turbulent. The ruthless Shi family inspired fear. Even before the age of supernatural powers, they had shown no mercy and acted recklessly.

Shi Man, the only child of Shi Xiang, the head of the Shi family, died unexpectedly at the age of five. The Shi family, whose emotions had previously been fairly stable, seemed to have had a valve suddenly opened. From then on, they went on a rampage.

They searched the world over for someone with the power to turn back time and resurrect the dead. As they searched, their formidable abilities repeatedly collapsed and turned against them, making each of them a terrifying catastrophe.

Then, after being consumed by their abilities, they opened their eyes once more. Exhausted, their powers on the verge of collapsing, they had returned to the year they lost Shi Man.

Under the sunlight, the little cutie was nestled in Shi Xiang's arms, smiling without a care in the world.

He was the one and only anchor they had in a world of scheming and deceit.

[Modern setting with the revival of spiritual energy. The family members, except the little one, are reborn one after another. The child has a special ability.]
