A complete short story in one go, about 10,000 words.
They say someone once saved a white fox in the mountains, and years later the fox took human form and returned to bring him wealth and a wife.
By chance, he came across an injured fox. And by chance, there was also a mountain chicken ready to be plucked. It seemed like a low-risk, high-return investment.
Sure enough, years later, a beautifully dressed woman came to his door. "Did you once save a fox?"
"Are you that fox?"
"No, I'm that chicken."
"Please, Immortal, spare me!"
"Don't be afraid. I'm here to give you a reward. Thank you for finding me a wife."
I'm currently writing The Fake Bride. Please follow it!
Marriage first, love later. Happy ending.
One is a fallen noble heiress, married down, who takes a servant's identity to become a constable in a small town.
The other is a petty thief who lies and swindles, hoping to assume the identity of a deceased village girl to escape punishment.
But it turns out the deceased village girl and the servant were betrothed as children. Two people from different worlds assume other people's identities and become husband and wife.
Neither can manage the household the way they're supposed to, but they'll have to make it work through all the chaos.
Theme: Flowers planted with care may not bloom, while a willow planted by accident may grow into a shady tree.
It's so interesting and beautiful. It would be great if I could write more follow-up 💪, hahahahahaha
Come on, come on, it's really beautiful
Have you become an immortal so quickly?
