[Retired Monster · Calmly Losing It · Overworked Shou VS Human Weapon · Gentle and Considerate · Yandere Gong]
After resorting to every means necessary to retire from the monsters' ranks, Qiu Jingshuang wants nothing more than to be an utterly ordinary office worker, living a simple nine-to-five life with his gentle, considerate new husband.
But then the strange phenomena descend upon Earth.
His new husband transfers to a classified government department, and his workload soars. His days of leaving early and coming home late grow longer and longer. Qiu Jingshuang understands, and to help ease the burden of supporting their household, he decides to deliver food.
At first, everything is normal.
Until the food delivery app updates and turns into Kill Me. Qiu Jingshuang wants to delete his account, but his boss is paying far too much.
Lately, strange incidents have been cropping up on the forums.
Murder cases keep appearing across human territory. The victims include both humans and legendary monsters, and the human authorities are taking the matter extremely seriously.
Huo Qingge is ordered to investigate.
Following an ever-growing trail of clues, he eventually finds himself standing outside his own home. Inside is only his pampered, helpless, utterly ordinary wife.
Later, during a monster-clearing operation, Huo Qingge finally comes face-to-face with the rumored morally ambiguous number-one on Kill Me's leaderboard, code-named Office Worker.
Huo Qingge draws his sword in an instant, his killing intent filling the air.
"Why are you wearing my spouse's wedding ring?"
The person across from him takes off his mask, tilts his head, and waves.
"Hey, honey."
