[Expected to start posting in December. Working hard to build up a stockpile of chapters. Thanks for adding it to your favorites.]
Xiao Xun had been seen as a jinx since childhood. He was a lunatic with no regard for his own life who always repaid his enemies. Then one day, the strongest Immortal Venerable in the cultivation world picked him up and took him home.
His master was extremely strict with him, and no matter how hard Xiao Xun tried to warm his master's icy heart, it never thawed.
As his master's only disciple, Xiao Xun couldn't believe his master felt nothing for him. That was, until the day his master pierced his heart with a sword without warning, leaving Xiao Xun to die in agony with all his affection unreturned.
The world cheered. At last, the jinx was dead, and he got what he deserved. But they didn't know that Xiao Xun hadn't died at all. He had turned into a soft, adorable little black kitten.
Xiao Xun looked down at his pink paw pads. Meow?!
And, by a twist of fate, his master picked him up again.
Xiao Xun was set on revenge and wanted to kill his master, but his master had apparently lost his mind and doted on him endlessly.
Bite him to death? The little black cat bared his fangs and pounced at his master's neck, only to smack his head against the man's chest.
His master rubbed his head and gently asked if it hurt.
Poison him? The little black cat's paw slipped while he was stealing poison, and he knocked over the medicine cabinet, getting caught on the spot.
His master only cared whether he was hurt.
Strangle him? The little black cat accidentally got tangled in a white silk sash until he was a ball of cat, and could only meow at his master in a soft voice.
After teasing him, his master carefully rescued him and held him in his arms.
Something was wrong. Very wrong.
But Xiao Xun didn't dwell on it. At last, when his spiritual power recovered and he turned back into a person, he crept into his master's room in the dead of night, sword in hand, and stabbed at the bed.
Huh? Where's the blood? Wait... Where is he?!
Xiao Xun's back instantly went cold and his body stiffened. The person who should have been lying in bed was standing right behind him, radiating an overwhelming presence. A trace of helplessness flashed in his eyes. “Finally willing to turn back into a person?”
Xiao Xun: ???!!!
As the strongest and youngest Immortal Venerable in the cultivation world, Shen Ci was just and dignified, seemingly free of worldly desires and untouched by mundane concerns.
But no one knew that he had always harbored the most forbidden and darkest feelings for his little disciple.
To suppress those feelings, he could only act cold and unfeeling on the surface, while in truth he had already looked his little disciple up and down from head to toe.
Later, his little disciple died. By the time Shen Ci arrived, only a corpse remained.
Shen Ci knelt before the gates of the underworld for three days and three nights, and at last got his little disciple back as a cat.
Having regained what he had lost, Shen Ci regretted his former severity and coldness. He doted on and protected the cat, refusing to let anyone bully him.
But the little black cat was very disobedient. Even after turning back into a person, he wouldn't behave. He actually went to a brothel to seek pleasure. In a fit of anger, Shen Ci dragged him to a secret chamber. Stroking Xiao Xun's tail as it emerged from overwhelming stimulation, he spoke in a frighteningly low voice: “Want to try it? Why look for someone else? Let your master help you.”
Xiao Xun dug his fingertips into a crack in the wall, his legs trembling and his mind in a muddle. When he opened his eyes, he saw his own name and portraits covering the walls, an unsettling sight that made his scalp tingle.
He's doomed. His cold, aloof master seems to have gone mad!
[The disciple is a proud, adorable little lunatic who loves and hates without restraint. The disciple is the bottom.
The master is an aloof, proud, just, and dignified old pervert. The master is the top.]
Also titled: Cocoon of One's Own Making
Reader's guide:
1. Both leads are pure, one-on-one, happy ending, older top.
2. There is a misunderstanding. The top did not kill the bottom.
3. The little cat in the story is human! So descriptions of food and eating are written accordingly. Please don't nitpick.
4. When he turns into a little cat, he is still referred to as “he,” not “it.”
5. The worldbuilding is entirely my own. Everything related to cultivation in this novel is made up. (Emphasis!!!)
6. The novel's world does not conform to reality. I hope everyone enjoys reading.
