[Complete first draft, currently updating as I revise]
The Demon Lord Guimian Luo shamelessly pursued his archenemy, the Divine Lotus Buddha Lord Yu Xie.
He clung to him with all his heart for three hundred years,
only to be run through, body and heart, by a single sword thrust.
After a brush with death, Guimian Luo's love-struck brain woke up, and he stormed back to the Ninth Heaven with sword in hand.
But...
Something seemed a little off.
Why had the archenemy who used to treat him with ruthless cruelty thrown open the gates to welcome him, then bathed, burned incense, and thrown himself into his arms?
Yu Xie asked mournfully, "I've been looking for you all these years. Where have you been?"
Guimian Luo raised his sword. "Funny, I've been thinking about you too, wondering how to kill you!"
Yu Xie said, "Then our hearts are truly in sync."
Guimian Luo: "...?"
Guimian Luo was so startled that he flew two li away. "There's something wrong with you!"
Later, he realized that something was wrong with both of them.
It turned out that their hearts had switched during that great battle.
The one who used to be lovesick had become a cold-hearted demon, while the cold-hearted Buddha had become a lovesick fool.
Guimian Luo threw back his head and laughed. The heavenly way always comes full circle.
He would torment Yu Xie mercilessly, drive him mad, and make him yearn for what he could never have!
But Guimian Luo soon regretted it.
The usually reserved and self-possessed Divine Lord gripped his waist with blood-red eyes. His sticky, husky voice slid from Guimian Luo's ear and wound through his whole body like a snake.
"Do you really want to see me go mad for you?"
The Divine Lord Yu Xie, transformed into a male ghost, pursues him relentlessly × the Demon Lord Guimian Luo, who just wants to stay away from lunatics
[Please note before reading]:
1. Mutual love, 1v1, happy ending.
2. Some details that may seem like writing errors are actually foreshadowing.
3. This isn't solely a romance. The plot and romance each have their share of the story.
4. Overall, it's a fairly lighthearted, sweet story. My writing is limited, so please go easy on me if it makes your eyes hurt.
Theme: The past shapes who we are today
I thought it was the final chapter [Heartbreak] and I got stuck here. This is a good book, very novel, and it also reminded me to go to bed at this point.
