I'm the Only One Who Can't See the Ghost Stories

[Eerie Tales + Misunderstanding-Driven Story]

Gu Zhao is an utterly ordinary transmigrator. After transmigrating, she continues to live an utterly ordinary life.

However, this world is a little strange, because the number of people with mental illnesses seems suspiciously high.

When she was an infant, her parents suddenly fell ill. Muttering something about a "holy child," they started hacking at each other with knives, turning Gu Zhao into an orphan.

When she was in elementary school, a classmate suddenly had an episode, shouting, "I'll do it all over again. This time, I will definitely, " Then he started foaming at the mouth, was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder.

When she was in middle school, the principal suddenly had an episode during the opening ceremony, laughing wildly and crying, "Offer the pure lamb to the great gods!" Then he suffered a sudden heart attack and died on the spot.

When she was in high school, a classmate suddenly started acting strangely and muttering to himself before the college entrance exams, grabbing everyone and babbling about "curses" and "vengeful spirits." As a result, everyone in the class except Gu Zhao caught exam anxiety and was sent to a psychiatric hospital.

At last, Gu Zhao made it through university by scrambling to survive among all sorts of psychiatric patients. But on her very first day of school, she saw a group of people clutching a sheet of white paper and weeping bitterly, wailing about something called "rules-based horror."

What are they even babbling about?

Gu Zhao tore the paper apart with a rip, looking utterly confused.

Is there anyone normal in this world besides her?
