They never got to have one last farewell meal, because a tiny human child suddenly appeared.
Faced with a group of extremely dangerous sword spirits, the child thought he was done for!
But Ichigo Hitofuri smiled. He was one of the swords who least wanted to wander the world, and now he could see hope.
As long as they cared for the little one every day, foraged for food, farmed, repaired the house, and improved their surroundings... surely they could live a stable, peaceful life!
If they just worked a little harder, they could keep living with the companions they had left.
Fan Fan was a homeless child. He had made his way through the streets all alone, and one day, while scavenging for copper wire in a demolition zone, he wandered into an alley.
He went deeper and deeper into the alley... and suddenly found a courtyard!
Everything that happened after that felt like a dream. A group of handsome grown-ups gave him food and a place to stay, and taught him to read and write...
