She even tried to fool her with a fake patch of shallow sea.
Silly. She grew up on a crab farm in a fish tank. She wasn't some wild sea crab.
The human's home was small, but there was plenty of room to move around. She was quite satisfied with it.
Later, she realized that this human seemed to have no family and couldn't speak like other people.
She also kept making a string of similar gestures at her.
On the thing the fish shop owner called a television, she'd seen someone who looked like her.
That person's friend bought a book, and then they were able to communicate.
After reading the book, she finally learned that those gestures meant Jiang Si, a kind of human food.
Did she like ginger?
Why had she never seen it on the dinner table?
When they passed the market, she told the human to buy some.
Once it was cooked, she eagerly pushed it toward the human's mouth.
Then she saw an indescribable expression on the human's face.
Oh, right. She'd also learned some idioms from a human dictionary. It wasn't because she wanted the human to praise her cleverness.
She'd just suddenly thought of it: making things up as she went.
She tried a bite. It wasn't tasty.
The human didn't like it either, so she threw it in the trash.

The human ran away.
She even left her home behind.
Would she come back?
She tried everything to sneak out, then hid in a corner downstairs to wait for her.
If she didn't come back, she would never speak to her again.
She came back, but didn't see her.
How could she not see such a big crab?
Was the human pretending not to see her?
