Wen Yihe is miserable because he witnessed the girl he had secretly loved for ages being confessed to in an alley.
He spent several days listlessly holed up in his room. One morning, he jolted awake from a dream and opened his eyes to find Wen Ran sitting in the window of his room.
Wen Yihe stared, dumbfounded, as his neighbor and secret crush hitched up the hem of her floral dress and swaggered into his room, flashing him a sly smile.
"Come act something out with me."
"Act what?"
"Be my boyfriend."
Wen Yihe pulled the blanket over his face. I must still be dreaming.
