Carefree little ray of sunshine x sweet childhood friend who's secretly dark and obsessive
1.
During her first semester at university, Li Zhen had so much fun she completely lost track of time.
The result: eighteen overdue papers to turn in at the end of the semester, and she was close to tears.
She posted on her social media feed: [Anyone got a GPT account I can borrow? Emergency!]
The first to reply was her usually easygoing childhood friend, Shen Sui.
[I have one. You can borrow it.]
2.
Every time Li Zhen finished using the AI, she deleted the chat history.
After a while, Shen Sui seemed to forget that he'd lent her his account.
Li Zhen noticed that some things she shouldn't be seeing were gradually appearing in the chat list.
[Is it normal to like someone so much that you want to lock her up at home?]
The next day, Li Zhen dropped some hints as she tried to talk him around. "Shen Sui, I'm telling you, there's a reason you're still single."
"Girls like us enjoy shopping and traveling, but you just like staying home. That's no good!"
Shen Sui smiled at her and nodded.
Then he gave her two cruise tickets and said they could take a trip sometime if she was free.
Li Zhen happily accepted them, then invited her best friend along for a lovely vacation.
Two weeks later, Li Zhen saw some new conversations:
[The girl I like went out with her friends. I'm so jealous. What should I do?]
[How can I make the girl I like stay by my side forever?]
[The girl I like smiled at another man today. It hurts so much.]
Li Zhen shivered. Her childhood friend seemed beyond saving.
She wondered which unlucky girl he'd fallen for. Poor thing.
3.
Another year-end exam season arrived, and Li Zhen logged into Shen Sui's GPT account for the first time in ages.
Her eyes widened as she accidentally glanced at the chat list.
[Zhenzhen, I like you so much.]
[Zhenzhen, don't leave me.]
[Zhenzhen, I want to devour you.]
Li Zhen logged out at lightning speed. After agonizing over it for ages, she cautiously messaged Shen Sui.
Watching the words "The other person is typing..." linger above the chat for two or three minutes, Shen Sui smiled softly.
"Shen Sui": Did you see it all, Zhenzhen?
"Shen Sui": Come over to my place tonight. I'll explain everything slowly.
