When we first met, I was being chased and beaten for pestering my father for a little sister/brother, so when I heard my father's voice downstairs, I quickly ran downstairs to give him a good morning kiss and seek his blessing.
Then I was fascinated by that little man, he was so cute, and I declared him to be my destined brother!
Listening to the rapid footsteps coming behind me, I quickly kicked the toy next to my father's feet, successfully tripping him.
While he was busy trying to steady himself, I straightened my clothes, walked steadily to my brother, greeted him politely, introduced to him all the honors I had gained since I was 6 years old, and solemnly invited him, hoping that he could be my younger brother.
I imitated the image I had seen countless times, and made a promise to protect him for the rest of my life, just like the promise my father made to his father.
He seemed a little confused and nervous, but he still hesitantly put his hand on my outstretched hand and called me brother softly.
So I held my brother's hand and proudly turned to my dad and announced that I don't need a useless dad, I have the cutest little brother in the world!
So that day, amidst my father's laughter and my father's apology to my neighbor's grandma, I met the love of my life.
