Luckily, his grandmother rushed over and pulled Yu Xun back from the brink of death. But the ordeal damaged his auditory nerves.
He could no longer hear, and he stopped trying to speak.
Yu Xun thought that staying by his grandmother's side was the whole purpose of his existence.
Until Grade 11, when he met Shen Yi again. His dead heart began to pound wildly, beyond his control.
But Yu Xun realized that Shen Yi seemed to... no longer remember him.
