The girl pursues the guy. The heroine is laid-back at first, then the hero takes the initiative later.
On the day after the college entrance exams, Chen Shu made a bet with Tang Yi to pass the time. The stake was Tang Yi's discontinued perfume, and Chen Shu had to win over Lin Qinyan, the unattainable heartthrob from the neighboring class, within a month.
That very night, Chen Shu moved into the house next door to Lin Qinyan's, waited for him in the hallway until he came home, and ended up inside Lin Qinyan's home, drying her hair. The whole process took her just six days.
Inside the house, a deep green slip dress accentuated her perfect figure, and droplets still fell from the ends of her hair. Chen Shu watched the person with red ears at her leisure and asked, "Lin Qinyan, why are you making me wear your jacket? I'm hot."
Lin Qinyan didn't dare look at her. He just muttered, "You're hot."
But who could have guessed that before Chen Shu could use her looks to thoroughly tease Lin Qinyan, who she'd only meant to have some fun with, he'd suddenly come around and started flirting with her instead?
Later, Chen Shu said that there was no need to pursue Lin Qinyan at all. She only had to crook a finger, and he'd come running on his own.
Everyone said Lin Qinyan, a senior in Class 2 at Wucheng High School, was aloof and hard to approach.
But they didn't know that when Chen Shu finally brought up their bet and said she wanted to call it off, this so-called unattainable heartthrob looked at her with reddened eyes and said, "Chen Shu, what if I told you I'd gladly let you play with me?"
