Two high school boys meet and fall in love in their first year. In their second year, they face a separation when Hui Qingmu leaves to attend a music university abroad. While they are apart, Wen Ming works hard, earns high marks on the college entrance exam, and gets into the art program at the same university. At last, they reunite, and from then on they stay together, believing that love is wider than the sea. They overcome one hardship after another, but a misdiagnosis on a medical report after a checkup keeps them apart for a while. Once the mistake is discovered, they get back together and continue down the road to happiness.
